To make this needleroll ornament follow these steps.


Step 1


Stitch a design that is approximately 1.5inches by 2 inches.

Clean and press your stitching.

Step 2

Count back 50 threads from your stitching on either end and then withdraw two threads.

Step 3

Trim off any excess fabric.

Fold over the fabric and then again until the crease is up to the drawn thread and hemstitch both ends.

Step 4

Fold your stitching in half so the back of your work is on the outside.

Stitch a seam along the edge .

Then turn inside out very carefully.

Step 5

Stuff with wadding and then tie a ribbon round the bottom.

Step 6

Cut a piece of ribbon to hang your ornament with.

Tuck it into the top of the needleroll and stitch it onto the seam, just to secure it.

Then tie another piece of ribbon round the top
